To accelerate meaningful, evidence-informed quality improvement across healthcare by connecting people, sharing learning, and enabling practical tools that turn ideas into measurable impact for patients and families.
A healthcare system where every improvement idea can move quickly from insight to action—supported by a connected, collaborative network that makes high-quality care easier to deliver everywhere.
1. Improvement that Matters
We focus on changes that are practical, measurable, and directly improve patient care and system performance.
2. Collaboration Over Silos
We believe the best solutions emerge when disciplines, sites, and roles work together openly and consistently.
3. Simplicity in Action
We reduce friction in improvement work by making processes, tools, and pathways clear, usable, and efficient.
4. Evidence with Context
We use the best available evidence while respecting local realities, frontline experience, and patient needs.
5. Learning Culture
We treat every project as an opportunity to learn—celebrating insight, iteration, and transparency over perfection.
6. Equity in Improvement
We aim to improve outcomes for all patients by identifying and addressing variation and inequity in care.
I’m Valerie Jansen, a Registered Nurse with a passion for innovation and making healthcare systems work better.
Over the past 5 years, I’ve led continuous quality improvement initiatives at the department, hospital, and regional levels. Today, I lead quality improvement across a multi-hospital pediatric emergency network focused on improving pediatric readiness through collaboration, shared learning, and evidence-based improvement.
Throughout my career, I saw the same challenge repeated across every organization: the work of continuous quality improvement was often supported by disconnected spreadsheets, emails, whiteboards, and manual processes. Valuable ideas were difficult to track, collaboration across departments was challenging, and improvement teams spent too much time managing the process instead of driving meaningful change.
While digitizing parts of the workflow using widely available tools improved the process, it became clear that healthcare needed something designed specifically for continuous quality improvement—not a collection of workarounds.
That realization led to the creation of GoQI+.
GoQI+ was built to simplify continuous quality improvement by bringing opportunity management, project management, standard work, collaboration, and impact measurement together in one platform. Just as importantly, it’s designed to make improvement accessible for everyone—from frontline staff submitting their first idea to experienced quality improvement professionals leading organization-wide initiatives.
I believe quality improvement shouldn’t feel complicated. When we make improvement easier, we empower more people to participate, spread best practices faster, and ultimately improve care for patients and families.
